3-zone comfort principle for men

We have precisely tuned the foam thickness and sitting position of the 3 saddle zones to eliminate seated stress even during spirited riding. The large relief opening (1) reduces pressure in the men’s perineal area. Gentle transitions (2) at the opening prevent edge pressure while the saddle’s surface (3) – which is adapted to the width and position of the sit bones – optimally distributes the body weight.

Prevents sitting pressure and numbness

In men, pressure from the saddle can cause compression of nerves and vessels in the perineal area. This often leads to numbness. The relief opening of the Terry Fly Exera Gel Max Men, specially adapted to the male anatomy, prevents these typical discomforts in the perineum and genitals. 

Firm and comfortable seat foam

Terry uses a special high-performance foam pad in the Fly Exera Gel Max Men along with Comfort Foam to distribute the pressure evenly across the sit bones. The sit bones slightly compress the foam so that the pedalling movements are optimally supported. Precisely controlled foam rebound response prevents contact with the saddle shell. 

Gel pads: More cushioning, less pressure

In the gel version, the Fly Exera Gel Max Men effectively dampens the unevenness of the riding surface. The gel pads noticeably enhance the foam padding, further reducing pressure on the sit bone area while effectively absorbing shocks.
